I just finished this model today (I'm on a bit of a roll.) Hope you like it.

The head is from this pack, in case anyone is wondering.

Heroka Vendile

Nice bold colour scheme there  :o  :P

The head works well, looks like an interesting pack for something a bit different.

That's the first blue Barbaretta I can recall seeing actually...

Is that a standard 28mm chainsword, or a 54mm one?

impressive work!
i like that you gave her a shirt!

did you extend a 28mm-chainsword with another one? if yes, how did you manage to assemble that without any gap?
i tried it some weeks ago, and it looked like crap...

kierkegaard

Heroka - what's with the :P? There are only two heads in the pack that I think would be useful - I think that Dave used the other one on Lilith.

Joel - Neither! It is two plastic Space Marine chainswords spliced together.

Phil - I used plastic cement to melt the two halves of the blade together, and when it was fully dry (the next day) I lightly filed it smooth (filiing across the joint.) I'm sure that the joint is visible if you look really closely.

Aidan

Aha! I've found the joint on the chainsword! It is very, very vague though. I ought to try that.

You've actually made the 'carapace armour' semi-plausible with her. Those shoulder pads do add alot of style despite being quite superfluous in reality. (You could still get a blade in between that and her neck, unobstructed.)

I like the head transplant as well. In what way would the other heads be unsuitable for Inquisitor conversion? I might actually get that pack if I think I could get good use out of it.

-Aidan.

PS. Thanks for painting a shirt on her. Really.  8)

Necris

It's a stunning mini, stands out and is very striking

the weapon swaps work perfectly

Good work
This here is my very favourite gun...I call her rita.

I do believe i'm going to copy that Chainsword, it's awesome, i think i've found the join, but i can't tell properly. That's an awesome model dude, what pack is the head from?

Kaled

That's an excellent model - I really love the colour scheme you've chosen.

I've used two of the heads in the pack, this one and, as Nick says, the other was on Lillith (with a hair transplant).  The other heads in the back are all quite old women that fit less well with the Inquisitor range - they're pretty good sculpts though and I do have plans to use one of them.
I like to remember things my own way... Not necessarily the way they happened.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm glad that the shirt is popular (I never liked the standard blatant attempt to distract the enemy look :D)

The joint is between the seventh and eighth teeth (counting up from the handle.) I can't see it on the photographs, but I can see it in reality.

Aidan - as Dave says, the other heads have old looking faces, but what really makes them seem unusable is the fact that they are wearing bonnets and milkmaid hats.

Dave - I think that you used the head with the bun-on-top hair style for Lilith, but what model did you use the head that I have used here for?

I used it on the girl in the purple dress - it's not obvious as she has a) a bad paint job, and b) rubbish hair!

Brilliant - absolutely love the chainsword, and the red/blue colour scheme is really striking.

As with all your other models, i'm really stuck by the skin colouring, it looks really natural and soft - it's exactl how I wish any of my model's skintones would look....

Good work.

It is just Tallarn Flesh foundation paint (lightened with Skull White) and Ogryn Flesh wash.

Myriad

I might have found the chainsword join, but it just looks like a dent (which there generally aren't enough of on inquisitor weapons, given the usage most of the weapons see.  Maybe the mechanicus prescribes ritual polishing).  This is another simple conversion that really works.
I had better point out, that some of the clubs I represent are of a military bent.

You know what you are?  A plywood shark!
