I know with so few 54mm models out there compared to other scales, and with even fewer of those models being made by GW, many of you at the conclave have turned to sculpting your own models. I myself have no such talents, and many of you who do sculpt are awe-inspiring in your work. I just found this over on fantazation miniatures, a website that sells models from a ton of different ranges. It's basically a starter kit mannequin for creating 54mm models, thought you guys would appreciate that. :3

I do believe that's originally from Andrea Miniatures. I think Kaled used one for his Ordo Sicarius operative, though it might not have been that armature specifically. It's certainly looks a useful helping hand for sculpting your own, but it is a lot more expensive than a good ol' paperclip!

Very pretty, but bloody hell it's expensive - at half the price or less, I might recommend someone tried it, but for that much, not a chance.

That'd get me putty, wire and bases for ten models, and leave pennies to spare.

Damn. Are there really enough people who want to sculpt in 54mm and not learn how to make their own armatures that there's a market for these things at over £20?

Particularly as they'd actually hinder my work - I normally don't add the arm(ature)s until I've completed the torso, because they'd just get in the way up until then.
