How do Infinity Minatures Scale up to heroic 28mm miniatures, because I hoped to make an INQ 28 warband from the Infinity ALEPH range (inquisitor Achilies)

On the left, Necromunda Escher. On the right, an Infinity Hac Tao:

EDIT: I've just noticed the photo is slightly off-kilter, which may give a false impression. They are essentially the same size.

As far as ALEPH's range, there are some good things in there, but do consider that it's not all suitable for the GrimDark. I'd also look a bit further than just their range though, as you may end up with a few too many models in bodygloves.
(You should also consider that almost all Infinity models are armed with rifles or heavier, which could be a bit harsh in Inquisitor. Conversion may be necessary.)

My personal recommendations from the ALEPH range would be the Male Deva Functionary (who comes with what is easily an implant weapon) or the Naga or Daysus models (either male or female). Achilles is a decent Inquisitor with a bit of conversion... but I'd give the female Deva, the Asura, the Posthumans or any of the robots a miss -  they're not GrimDark enough. Probably the Sophotect too, much though I like the model.

Though the idea of a campaign between some Imperials and some DAoT Humans who come out of the warp and Must Be Stopped is very tempting, with Infinity models as the Humans and their Iron Men "minions" (who is really in charge, hmmm?).

Infinity models are very nice, but very hi-tech in their look.
Questions are a burden to others, answers a burden to oneself.

As I said, an all ALEPH warband would be too many bodygloves for my liking. My choices would be more like:

Octavian: Lucien Sforza, not entirely unlike his current model.
Freya: Given that this is 40 years ago, the "long time away from Catachan" argument holds a lot less water, so I think you should err towards a Catachan look rather than that of the EVA model. There's nothing perfect in the Infinity range, but the Ariadna Paracommando or Scout might pass muster.
Storm Troopers: Ariadna Tankhunters, Veteran Kazak 1, Veteran Kazak 2, Moblot - although probably with weapon swaps.

I can't comment on Karazak that well as I don't think I've seen a model for him, but I know he's supposed to be a big brutish Catachan (as are the rest, I suppose - and not exactly a decision that gels with me, but they're your characters), perhaps Van Zant (prior to Karazak's arm loss).

Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."
Birgen: "Pick a window. I'll demonstrate".

Tech-Acolyte Sigma-Quartis: Electro short sword, pulse pistol - pheasant agent
Skitarus xyz: las-carbine, short sword- Janissary
Tech servitor (as himself)

Inquisitor abc and warband- ordo sicarius

Not sure on this call. Maybe the Janissary, but in general the Infinity-verse's power armour doesn't really suit the 40k aestethic, so I would steer away from most Infinity Heavy Infantry (the exception being Ariadna, whose HI do not have power armour).

Were I looking for Tech-Priests in the range, I'd be aiming at a Reverend Custodier (actually, I have one with that exact intent).

With Skitarii, you want a slightly mechanical (and probably helmeted) look, but the red robes of their Mechanicus allegiance too. So things like the Hexas, Sin-Eater Observants (and #2), this Gŭiláng, or the Hassassin Lasiq   might swing to Skitarii. Or, Techpriests themselves in some cases (particularly the Lasiq)
The heavily armoured look of the Mormaers could also work.

The Sputniks might also make a good AdMech weapons drone, a servitor brain in an armoured chassis.

Not that I dislike either of the models you linked. I have one myself and eventually intend to get the other. If you simply like them as the models, don't let me stop you getting them (They could be impressive display pieces - Infinity models are absolutely gorgeous), but I don't think they're within Inquisitor's aesthetic (or power level, given the impressive quantity of armour).
(This may or may not be a subtle "Have you actually considered using Infinity models for Infinity?" comment.)

One thing to say about Infinity models... they are a tad fiddly to put together. It's quite common for a model to break down in to two or three more pieces than if GW had done something similar, which is exacerbated somewhat by the finer frames of the models.
This is however great for conversions, as arms that cut across the body are usually separate and all the detail is sculpted underneath, but it is a slightly different process to working with GW's simpler, chunkier models.

Yes I have played and was also hoping to use the models in Infinity
EDIT: I felt the jannissary looks like carapace armour.

Also, I am in LOVE with the Imperial Agent models!

Good man!

No argument there. I'm a big fan of all the Yu Jing HI (and will be doing a very power armour heavy Yu Jing force as a result). Mind you, Corvus Belli have just excelled themselves in general.

Personally, I wouldn't use the Crane Rank in INQ28. The styling is rather alien (in the wildly different sense, not the Xenos & ET sense) to the styling of Imperium power armour.

Infinity has strong anime stylings and shiny near future sci-fi as inspired by a Japanese art style (doubly so when its meant to be the product of what Eastern culture will evolve into) will not always transpose into a far future gothic sci-fi developed after the art of John Blanche!

Observe, if you will:
John Blanche's power armour - there's obvious influences from European medieval plate armour, so it's generally trying to give the impression of age.
Anime power armour - this has a much more clean styling, an evolution of the modern Eastern look so it's trying to look high tech and ahead of the modern day.

But if you really have to use it, then yes, I suppose a Tech-Priest or a very fanatical Inquisitor is the likeliest explanation.

The Pheasant Rank, however, I never disagreed with.
