The escort vessel itself would probably have a Commander as the CO, but that wouldn't stop First Lieutenant Lexus from taking the helm should Commander X be killed in action. Just bump her seniority up a bit (you have her down as being 50, after all) and you'll have something much more convincing, while simultaneously avoiding the clichéd pitfall of "unassuming, junior and/or less skilled character suddenly pulls a blinder from out of nowhere".

Your right there it would be a bit cliche, so Lexus could be the commander instead of being a lieutenant.

Now I would say that Lexus is complete for background and stats so on to the next member of the Warband Enunciator Jeremiah Newton.
