A guitar, huh? That's one you don't hear often.

If you build it yourself (which I definitely suggest), would be to use plasticard thread for the strings. I've got a selection of different widths, some of which is really hair-thin. If I can buy that kind of thing in this remote corner of the world, I'm sure you can find it in Britain!

As for guitar size, at a rough guess I'd say half a person's height, maybe a bit more. I'll see if I can scrounge up a photo, or you could wait for one from Adam.

It will look better if it's bigger than it should be, hence my sugestion. As I said though, Trial and error. But I reckon (Though, I don't have anything available to check by eye) being about as long as a Shotgun or Lasgun is in 54mm will be a good starting point.

I've sketched up a guitar shape I like, so I plan to mock it up in card to test it for size and then once I get that right I'll build it in plasticard (similar to those someone linked to on Warseer). Pics will follow once I start building.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone selling plasticard thread, but I've never looked as that sort of thing is easy to make. Just get some sprue, heat it with a lighter (ask a grown up to help) and quickly stretch it to the desired length/thickness. It takes a couple of attempts to get it right, but once you have the knack it's easy.

Looking at those guitars, they maybe drop-castable.. Just unsure on the necks; if they're level with the back it should be doable

Most electric guitars are around 40" in length, so roughly half the height of the model would probably look right.

The extra width of Inq models will make a scale guitar look like a eukelele.

I bought the black electro acoustic a year or so ago. I've had the strat for as long as I can remember and the 3/4 left hander belonged to my sister when she was 8. Narce Romanov has been arounda while... I havent bought a new mini in approaching 8 months now.

anyone want to buy a fiat punto?
