I wrote as TheSolitaire simply because I wanted to retain an air of mystery and drama around the posts

Always liked it, still do! Tbh, i'd forgotten how it went, and it's a bit like rediscovering a good book. Canon-wise, I always thought things as mysterious as harlequins etc should be pretty much free game, because the idea that they're documented or even understood diminishes them. No doubt No-1 would disagree... vehemently...
