Hi everyone, posting a quick preview of my new character, Ji-Ken, a munitorium official of flexible morals and even more flexible courage(there hasn't been enough good old fashioned running screaming in terror at the conclave events lately-the forty-first millenium is meant to be *scary*!)

Another conversion of my favourite judge model, this time with the pose altered slightly for more of a running-forward feel, and using the techpriests arms to turn the coat into more of a robe. Since the techpriest doesn't come with matching shoulders, the left shoulder had to be modelled on with putty, and for those curious the smaller pistol, plus attached hand, is a spare from the dwarf thunderer sprue, emperor bless heroic proportions

I like him! He's got a lot of movement, considering the fairly static base model.

I'm not too sure on his choice of weapons though, he's got a massive gun in one hand and a tiny, single-shot pistol in the other. I can foresee a lot of time spent not bothering to reload his left handed weapon ;)
An Inquisitor walks into a bar - he rolls D100 to see if he hits it.

Maybe it's just his lucky lead-off pistol.  One shot gets 'em dead, Dead, DEAD!  8)
It may have all been a lie, but it keeps the masses quiet.

Actually, its more a case of bulky, powerful weapon for blowing enemies apart, and smaller, less obvious one that he can-
1. Easily hide.
2. Draw and fire quickly, even from a hidden position.
3. (Relatively) Easily shoot while running away.

Also, most of my characters have a spare gun for if their favoured weapon gets lost/runs out of ammo/ breaks, and he did actually lose his bolt pistol in one game earlier today. Perhaps more importantly, it looks good on the model-the antique and highly decorative style fits with his overall character, and it makes for a nice pose with his left arm.

And that's as good a reason as any for an Inquisitor character to run around with some flair.

Perhaps you could fudge it and say it's a duelling laspistol (along the lines of what Belasco Deathworks produces in Rogue Trader)?

Myriad

It was made by 28mm dwarves.  It's reliable!

I like this guy too, does look as if he'd ducking for cover.
I had better point out, that some of the clubs I represent are of a military bent.

You know what you are?  A plywood shark!
