A fantastic song for Chaos, specifically Khorne or some Undivided, is Rats Eyes by Black Flag. Vicious stuff...
Personally, if I want Chaos, I'm more likely to stick on an early Paradise Lost album, or some Arch Enemy. The Wages of Sin album's quite good for that sort of thing (I mean, the first track on it is even called Enemy Within, how much more appropriate can it get?)

Mechanicus schismaticals get lumped with the Doomsday Machine album instead, though.

Get Low by Lil John...on repeat. (http://open.spotify.com/track/0r2Bul2NuCViraT2zX1l5j)

heh, on a more serios note i find just generally having music i like in the background works well no matter what i do, esp when other people are around i find that they tend to set the mood more than anything. I'm fully capable of being scared out of my brain by a player who just poped out from behind a corner in a zombie game because i'm so tensed up, all the while weezer's playing in the background.

Otherwise The Battle from the gladiator sound track stikes me as being suitable for some more epic moments.

Koval: Trust me, listen to Rats Eyes while doing anything Khorne or Chaos related, and you'll start stomping round the room chanting "Rat's eyes, Rat's eye's, I see the world through rat's eyes"....

I get nostalgia, I really do. Just pick something that's worth being nostalgic about. ;)

see this:

and I agree you can find an appropriate Dylan track for anything. personal favourite is Masters of War at the moment.

Argh Zombie thread!

Octavian, it's generally a good idea to check the age of the previous post before dragging a thread back into the light of day. Some consider thread necromancy a deadly sin!

Personally I don't mind it if the new post is informative or it rekindles discussion perhaps. That said I'm not entirely sure your post counts as the former.

Just a friendly warning before someone else steps in.
And the Saint did weep when she saw how lost the people were. Seven tears fell upon Gomorrah. Seven tears to wash away their sin. A deluge of heavenly tears drowned their world in an ocean of forgiveness. The people cleansed in a sea of nuclear fire.

I know this thread has been dead for some time but I've only just come across it and can't help but comment. The whole Inception soundtrack is incredible background music for Inquisitor games. It creates a great atmosphere for the game especially 'Time' and 'Dream is collapsing'.

This time I do have something to add. Most of the tracks from the planets should work. Maybe except venus and mercury.

Not really music for a game but one of my dads characters "Robin Van Turie", a rogue trader with a NV value of 35 and LD of 39, recently legged it away from every opponent he came across, and several civillians. he now has his own theme music.......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZwuTo7zKM8........17 seconds in hahaha
