A question on resting and aiming

This has probably been asked before.
I'm using the Archive LRB1 and a source on this.
The sections on resting a weapon and aiming state that any action other than aiming, or firing a single shot will cause the aim/rest bonus to be removed.
This suggests to me that aiming/resting action bonuses are not lost if the character subsequently fires one (or more?) single shots?

Ergo, a character could rest, aim once, and fire two single shots, with the both shots using the rest+aim bonus, as opposed to the bonus only applying to the first shot as I previously understood it, RAW?

In short, yes. Firing single shots does not cause you to lose your aim bonus.
S.Sgt Silva Birgen: "Good evening, we're here from the Adeptus Defenestratus."
Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."
Birgen: "Pick a window. I'll demonstrate".
