Thanks for all the help, and thanks for the advice on the sword handle and gun stock. I especially liked the idea of putting a nice pommel on the sword and have implemented it. I hope the stock isn't too basic - as I said, my crafting skills aren't all that great.

Anyway, without further ado, here's the final product. I'm not a great painter - but I gave it my best shot and I hope i've done the model justice.

As usual, comments/criticisms welcomed and appreciated.

Really loving the green on the coat, it's nice and rich, with some definitely strong highlighting.

The finished model looks good (better than attempts anyway). The sword and gun still look very large, but hey, 41st millenium, right?
I seek a perfection. I won't attain it. But it is a lofty enough goal for my ego.

Brother_Brimstone

Yeah - that, and, bear in mind the guy is meant to be about 5'3-5'6 (max), so he's bound to be pretty small in comparison anyway.

But thanks very much for the compliment.

Ferran

I like it. I can't deny that (in my opinion) your converting skills could do with some refining, I can't find fault with the painting. All looks very nice and makes for a striking miniature.

Kaled

The sword looks much better and it's a nice paint job - good work.
I like to remember things my own way... Not necessarily the way they happened.

Thanks very much for the complements.

Also, I absolutely agree that my conversion skills leave a fair bit to be desired. This is my first ever Inquisitor model, and so I suffered from 1) Lack of practice, and 2) Lack of the ambition that comes wihen you are confident with your skills in something. I'm not making excuses, all I mean to say is that hopefully over time, my conversion skills will improve, and I may then begin to tackle larger conversions.

Flinty

Excellent, I like the greatcoat highlighting too. I sympathise with the struggle converting, I've just started too and thrown away a couple of major abhominations - Im sure practice improves, and your concepts are great already.
Neanderthal and Proud!

The Pommel works really well, the extended hilt really balances out the sword visually.
