Stunning! and as you can see, green with envy :P can't wait to see it painted. Far better than the original artemis model.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Wow, that is mightily impressive! I can tell a LOT of work has gone into that, good job!

If I may add a bit of constructive feedback - it looks like his right hand is slightly separated from his wrist, is that an issue that would be easy to fix?

Haha! the wrist had been on my to do list so long i forgot about it. Done it now, a quick file and repin no harm done :) I'm glad you guys like it. I promised the boys down my local GW that i'd take him in b4 painting so they could have a look, so painting wont start till late tomorrow but should be mostly done by the end of next week. I'm gonna take my time on the painting, i'd hate to ruin a beautiful model with a sub standard paint job.

EDIT: I should point out he does have an icon around his neck, i've just forgotten to glue it on yet lol

Very nice work. The stance is very realistic and the gs work youve done really echoes the streamlined style of your sketch, mission successful I'd say.

Is he a Blood Angel? Apologies if you've already said. I'm working on a mk6 Corvus pattern Marine Malevolent atm, I'll have pics up soon. We'll be able to do a 'Power Armor throughout the Ages' gallery  :)

Btw was on here before as Ros Erevan, so no welcome necessary. Been lurking on and off for a while, but I actually found the time to get back into =][=! Good times. And this bad-ass Ferrari of a marine is one of the many reasons I love this game.

Wow, love the model, must have taken you so long to get it to this point.
Looking forwards to seeing it painted.

The left arm is shorter than the right one, it seems to be sitting a little bit high and the torso is offset to the right by a fair margin as well.

jebus, make me one.
That is one awesome Space Marine, I'm really digging the pose!

Having spent a while in front of the mirror and imitating the pose of the marine, I think the model is spot on. IF you hold your right arm straight with a weight on the end, but actively pull up a weight in your right arm, the muscles above your clavicle have a perceptible bulge tot hem and make the shoulder look raised.

Given this and that the left arm is also bent slightly at the elbow, both the arm length difference and shoulder height difference are as it would be in normal life.

I do however agree now from this careful examination that the torso could do with separation and shifting to the left.

Ok so i'll be honest, i unpinned the arms an played with them, but i was happier with it as was so i'm gonna re do it after painting, Also i agree the torso is slightly off. But it would mean a major rebuild to do that again so i'll be honest and say im not gonna do it, its a nice model and it honestly wont bother me if its slightly of. The Back pack was only blue tacked on as i find this gives me better acsses when painting. I'll have to go to GW and get more GS for when i repin the arms, but thats touch up work and not a worry for me. Anyway was able to get some painting done, not all but a fair amount. Enjoy.

If im honest with myself i'm not 100% happy with that shoulderpad and MAY end up painting over and starting again, but thats life lol. Highlighting and the sword arm still needs doing and im gonna do a bit more with the base.

EDIT: I know the Sword wrist is a bit seperated. When i was removing the other arm it cracked the pin so i'll have to sort that at some point. No worries tho :)

Myriad

Looks like a good crack at the shoulderpad to me, but I guess if you want to get it just right that makes sense.  Shaping up well as a model.
I had better point out, that some of the clubs I represent are of a military bent.

You know what you are?  A plywood shark!

Kaled

In general, I think he looks really good - the main thing I think looks wrong is his left hip.  I know you were hoping that the greenstuff would make it look better, but his leg doesn't look to be attached properly.  Probably too late to do anything about it now, but if you did decide to then it might be worth a look at POs Pre-Heresy Dark Angel as he got that leg to fit right (but admittedly in a slightly different pose).
I like to remember things my own way... Not necessarily the way they happened.

From these photos the hip looks like its definitely liveable with :) and generally the model looks fantastic with what looks o be an excellent paintjob. I agree with Myriad as well that the shoulder pad looks fantastic as it is. I look forward to seeing him finished.

Fantastic marine.
Also this may have been already answered (either here or somewhere) and if it has i must have missed it, but can you still get the helmeted head for the marine because i noticed it can no longer be bought seperatly and so am hoping that its been added to the box but i don't know if this is the case.

Unfortunately, the helmets have long been discontinued. They are also amongst the most highly sought-after OOP Inquisitor parts, so while you might occasionally see one put up on eBay, odds are it won't be going cheap.
