As per the topic - are there any good sources of 54mm 1:35 or 1:32 animals?
Especially cats, dogs, birds, etc.

We see a lot of humans, mutants, etc, but I've realised there are very few animals, except for cybermutts and/or servo skulls.
Thoughts?

There are a few critters available from www.heresyminiatures.com, including big spiders and slugs, and the waspquito which would be a great psychneuin.

I've never seen them in the flesh, but Tamiya do some 1/35 dinosaurs, including velociraptors.

Lastly, ebay is a rich source of Britains farm animals.

I've found a few other sources, as well as those, but so far no luck.
Most of what's available, especially in the avian or mammalian variety is rather lacking in detail and/or decent posing.
I'm digging through historex, but unless I want to get a 54mm american indian crow warrior there's not really any sources of our black feathered friends.

I remember seeing that sort of thing a couple times.
It's sort of tempting, but I'm really wanting to grab some classic feline, canine, or avian models so that they can be subtly altered in as creepy a manner as possible.
However, it looks like the only thing left is for me to learn how to sculpt, which isn't my forte at all.  :(

One I have looked at using a couple of times is the range of animals from Schleich.  They are similar in size and not too bad detail while being reasonably priced.  I was looking to use a couple of the horses a while ago for a mounted version of my inquisitor (Felix) but have the horse but haven't done the conversion...

forgot about schleich, i have a rearing horse for use as a statue, as you say, the detail is ok on some of their stuff.

Are the dogs in scale?
If so that would be one nice source.

Just leaves cats and birds  :)

Nice one on the cats.
I'm not sure if waterfowl will entirely fit - although the idea of an MIU linked goose is amusing!

And as a nod to the wyrd with a spider thing from the legacies game I read about, what about a wyrd who can control animals in general?
Like dogs, cats, geese, ducks, seagulls, grox, etc?
You could get the ducks and cats to nibble people to death!  ::)

Andrea Miniatures have various animals in 54mm, mostly ones that are part of dioramas but available separately. Horses, cows, chickens, dogs, etc, etc.
