GW have made the Ravenwing sprue available on its own - has lots of gubbins perfect for inquisitor.

And now those questions:

1) I'm right in thinking that all main tables at Warhammer World at 4'x6', yes?

2) I remember seeing somewhere on here people talking about buying some slightly expensive blocks that let you roll your own ribbed tubing? Great for mechadenrites and the like. Can anyone link me to the topic/website?

3) has anyone ever ordered direct from SmartMax? Or through another seller? If so then how'd it go/who was it?

4) how long does an order through Historex tend to take to arrive?

5) not so much a question as a half-hearted gripe, but why oh why must our addiction... I mean, hobby, be so expensive  :'( :P

PS if anyone has either an Eisenhorn head or Barbaretta/Bravus visored helmet, for trade, PM me.

It's all fun and games until someone shoots their own guy with a Graviton gun instead of the MASSIVE SPIDER.

All I can answer is the 5th one - if you scrabble round for parts, use cheaper sources, and scratch build, it doesn't have to be :D.

That Ravenwing sprue though... very tempting.
Questions are a burden to others, answers a burden to oneself.

No, they're 6'x4'. :P

Unless you have to have the space, I would however recommend cropping that down to 4'x4' - gives you space for papers on the ends, as well as stopping characters being stranded feet from the action.

It depends how you approach it. If you do it the way I do, with pretty much everything scratch built, it's actually pretty reasonable. Since I joined the Conclave, I've spent more making it to the events than I have on modelling.

(Excepting that Mega Paint Set I bought, but that wasn't just for Inquisitor).

Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."
Birgen: "Pick a window. I'll demonstrate".

Mine have taken a few days normally - a week at most.
I like to remember things my own way... Not necessarily the way they happened.
