i was just wondering how big they are, i saw a picture of one compared to an Inquisitor, and he was pretty big. Normally i wouldn't have an issue, but i'm getting three members of a warband from it, and i don't want them to appear TOO big compared to other models. Are they a proportional size?

The models in question are:

Im not sure- I seem to recall someone said the gunner came out huge, but I would be interested to know as I wanted to use the commando myself. They are nice though

I'm at a commundrum, they wont accept my debit card, but my brother and one of my friends both live in Madrid. I may pop out to see them and pick the models up then, or wait a week until i can borrow a credit card. Decisions decisions decisions.

Hmm, ive been planning on using the last model on your list for a conversion for some time now im curious to see what you do with it

I picked up this guy to make my Kaede Mack, he's huge! He stands a good head and a half above most Inquisitor models. So much so, he earned the nickname BigMack during his short speight at the IGT.

Still, as discussed countless times on various threads, people come in all shapes and sizes, and although he's bleedin' massive, it's not out of the realms of plausibility.

Apparerntly my visa debit works  ??? I'm not sure how long it'll be until i have them, or even if it has worked properly, but time will tell, hopefully.

Robskib, that was exactly the model i was thinking of. How long did it take you to get him, from ordering to him arriving?

If it takes a while, i might order some other stuff to do in the mean time, or i may prolong it to see if i can mix and match.

Stormgrad, i wasn't planning anything major with him, i was debating just giving him Covenants backshotgun, though i saw someone turn it into a chainsword earlier and and now debating stealing that idea...

Stormgrad

Well i was essentially going to turn him into a Medicae officer, i was considerng Clipping off his left hand and adding an Apothecaries Narthecium and adding a Thigh Holster to represent his needle pistol and perhaps a bag on his back to represent his first aid kit

I must confess, I bought it off their eBay store instead of their online store, so it only took a couple of days. At the time, it also worked out cheaper due to the exchange rate, but that might all be different now...

They just arrived, they're pretty good, and i don't think they're huge (the sci-fi ones are slightly bigger than the two Officers). The only problem will be straightening out the swords and things.

Any tips on how to do that? They're kind of flimsy...

RobSkib

Use GW swords. It pains me to say it, but most the weapons from Beneito and other 54mm manufacturers are not designed for tabletop use and regular packing away/unpacking, they're designed for sitting in display cases. They will bend and break with upsetting regularity, and althoug GW weapons are often very bulky and unrealistic, they stand up to the rigours of gaming.

I quite like the hilts, but i'm all for giving them bit of a brutal edge. Would plasticard work on it? Though i suppose i now have an excuse to buy a Grey Knight boxset...

RobSkib

It sure would. The new GK stuff also makes excellent high-end bionics, if you're prepared to hack off legs and arms and space them out a bit. I've tried it a couple of times with decent success amongst a couple of my guardsmen.

Could we get a scale shot of The Gunner?  I was thinking of purchasing him at some point.
