Hi, when in the old conclave I posted my female paladin the main problem everyone seemed to have with it was that she was carrying a power halberd and a sword and shield.
I really did not think of it before so I planned to give the paladin an assistant to hold the weapons she was not using and what better choice then a cherub, then the rules for cherubs where published and the cherub became a nephilim.
I made him using spare 40k parts and the head of the sister repentia which had an innocent look to it and so  "incolpatus" was born

I really like that. A friend of mine did a fairly OTT paladin and used a couple of cherubs to accompany her. I much prefer yours thought, we didn't convert them and just used the 40k witch hunter ones.

very cool conversion and nice paint job. the minis go together very well.

Really nice.  Cute and cherubic looking, while keeping enough of an 'imperial' look about him.  Certainly fits well with the paladin's crusader vibe.  On an related note, how did you do the dark skin tone?  It's something I've had a few problems with when I've attempted it.
I had better point out, that some of the clubs I represent are of a military bent.

You know what you are?  A plywood shark!

I like that fact that, to me, the cherub looks as though its judging lesser beings as though its purpose is more holy. Very nice pair  ;)!
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Time to die.

I really like how the cherub and the paladin fit together, they really look like a pair. She has a very 40k feel and I love the armour.
Circles of the wise My attempt at writing something, please comment on it if you have any advise.

Damn. If that isn't the coolest freaky floating little weirdo, I don't know what is. Excellent work.

Can you be more specific about the bits that you used?

Well the head is from the Repentia, like he said.  The backpack is from an SoB Seraphim.  The right arm is a 2nd Ed space marine.  Can't see the left arm, but I'm guessing it's from the Empire Knights of the Realm, like the torso and shield (with a FW brass "I"?).  The legs have me stumped, although they do look familiar.  The chain is, I think, from the old Dark Eldar reaver jetbike?

Let's see if I remember:

head = sister repentia
halo = eisenhorn staff
wings = part SoB seraphim and part space marine backpack
Chest = plastic Empire knight torso
bionic arm = colonnel Iron hand straken
flesh arm = plastic marauder
shield = empire general on griffon (with a sculpted Inquisitor Icon)
Chain = Old Dark eldar bike with an empire militia lantern at the end
Legs = Old Teckmarine backpack cables with skirts and armor sculpted over
