I have just received my Assassins in the mail from GW (remind me not to order on the weekend though, express mail took three days). I ordered a Callidus Assassin, an Eversor Assassin, and Sevorina and Sevora. I'm planning on building a small Ordo Sicarius warband based around an Ordo Sicarius Inquisitor and several Officio Assassinorum Assassin Adepts (Recently inducted operatives who have yet to be selected for a specific temple). I've already started work on the Eversor, which is a great model. The Callidus I was disappointed with from a modeling standpoint, but Sevorina and Sevora are beautiful models with annoyingly...unattractive BDSM-looking head/masks, so I'm of course converting  the hell out of them.

Anyway, I'll post pics soon, but i'm trying to modify my Eversor to resemble the picture below:

Looking forwards to seeing some pictures when you get into converting those models.

The Callidus model looks pretty good if re-posed - her original pose is awful though.
I like to remember things my own way... Not necessarily the way they happened.

XD yeah, that's what I found out too. I built her, then got sick of looking at that pose and tore her apart again :P now, after a tad bit of green stuff work, a file, my clippers, and a lot of patience she's looking quite a bit better.

Okay, finally took pics of my work! :D

First up, my Assassinorum Adept, names undecided for all characters so far.

Next, my Eversor Assassin. Didn't have to tools necessary to reposition the right arm to match the art I posted earlier, but converted the left arm.

Lastly, my Callidus Assassin. After deciding that I hated her original pose, i did some chopping and filing to alter it a little. I'm not sure, but I think her head may have been miscast...there don't seem to be any eyes. I do kinda like the faceless look though.

i like them- particularly the eversor. Sadly I dislike the head on the INQ version, but I like what you have done

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the head either, it looks too stretched and artificial, less like an actual skull as you see on the 28mm version and the artwork.

Aurelius 12

Great assassins. Especially given what you had to work from- I was seriously disappointed by the eversor and Callidus when they came out. He feels too flat, although that could just be the angle of the official photos, and she's clearly taken a break from murder and infiltration to skip through a meadow, sniffing sweet spring flowers. [/rant]

They look much better now!
And the Saint did weep when she saw how lost the people were. Seven tears fell upon Gomorrah. Seven tears to wash away their sin. A deluge of heavenly tears drowned their world in an ocean of forgiveness. The people cleansed in a sea of nuclear fire.

I like the Callidus head on Severina - it works well.  And your changes to the pose of the Callidus are a definite improvement.  I don't think her head is miscast - she's wearing a visor isn't she?  I have to say I was expecting you to do more to the Eversor after you posted that picture and said you were going to be 'converting the hell' out of him - still, he looks good.

Well converting the hell out of him was the plan originally >.< But sadly I lack a hobby saw, and that metal is damn thick, especially in the places I was wanting to alter, so instead I just changed him up a little bit. If ever I manage to get a saw I'll probably order another one and do the conversion I was intending from the start.

I recall from my own humble efforts that the eversor's quite difficult to work with.  Just removing the head was a trial.  The callidus is certainly much improved and the braid really leands the severina model a bit more dynamism.  Nice work.
I had better point out, that some of the clubs I represent are of a military bent.

You know what you are?  A plywood shark!
