Stuff Happens, almost a year later

so a year after the IGT and im nearly set for the next one, I need to base the models and do some work on some bits for a scenario and some work needs to be done on some of them but here they are

They look very interesting, they look like they fit well together while remaining individuals. I especially like the look of the one with the long beard, he has something.

I see a Liwet, a Scibor Dwarfbut can't place the Inquisitor (?)
Is there any background?

Indeed your right about it being Liwet and the Scibor Dwarf I'll be using him as an Argosian a race of abhumans specifically bred for there sturdiness and mining ability

The Tech Adept is Cadance, She hunts ships displaced in time by the warp in the hope of uncovering some grand piece of archeotech.

The Inquisitor is from Andrea Minis Warlord Saga series it started life out as the warriror priest

The new one looks interesting, what is he carrying? It could be a staff but the hollow end could also mean that it's something different.

No Nothing Fancy it is a staff this is supposed to be a representation of a Imperial Guard Battle Psyker, not quite primaris level yet

Hello One and all, So this years IGT is over and done with and i am rather pleased 4th Best GM (not bad since i have only ever GM'd 3 games) and 8th over all a improvement on my last place last year. so first of all i would like to show you the trio of Heroic inquisition servants i took



They where utterly Rubbish, Unlike in our DH game Novus (the Inquisitor) Failed every psychic test bar 1

Cadance the Tech Adept did slightly better opening fire and doing damage to the objective in the second game however this only caused him to flee faster (presumably in fear) rather than slow him down other than that she attempted to use her Haywire pulse ability to overload a door and instead just overloaded herself for the next 3 rounds

And Dwali well he did some rather nice damage with his shotgun and the micro grenade shells killing a shed load of civilians (who by edict of the Inquisition are Heretics for listening to Banned Teachings)  but Failed to shoot anything in the second game even spending a turn jumping (not very high) on the spot flapping his arms with the strange belief that he was a tarooken eagle.

So it has been Decided, there getting replaced with a new warband hopefully in time for the next event - To This end i Bought a Talos and a Box of Vargheists

First up is the WIP of the Talos, Lovely kit and easy to work with





The Second is a Demonhost based off of a Vargheist - after being brave enough to attempt a hood on the Inquisitor in the last warband i decided that a potatoe sack type garment would not be to far out of reach

The daemonhost and the Talos look promising, what will the Talos become?

Cadence *did* open that door in the process of overloading.  All characters have bad days - sometimes you just find yourself getting shot.  Lots of potential in those kits, looking forward to the results.

The Talos is going to be a Servitor part of a mad Tech Priests Retinue along with the vargheist/deamonhost.

there wont be that much progress on the Servitor Talos for another week or so as i need to order another sentinel leg and foot from a bits site somewhere, However the Demonhost will be getting some more work done to it tomorrow afternoon including some ragged sleeves for the sack cloth and robe and then ill add some little bits (there are some odd bits to dangle from necks) and tidy up some of the bad gs work (which is to say all of it) as best i can and away we go - The other two Vargheists will likely end up as Mutants that i plan to use for another scenario in future.

anyway i need to go watch some more of the saw movies so i have more material i can rip off for next years IGT scenario (last year and this years scenarios have both been takes on that movie)

So a small update, i have since recieved a Delphan Gruss model and am in the process of converting it anyway thoughts








also more work on the demonhost model not much tho just some arms for his sack/robe

The combination of Delphan and the Talos hand just made me inadvertantly say "oooh, very nice" out loud. Effective work, and the needle is exceedingly disturbing!

The new hand makes Gruss look like a completely different character, a very good choice.

Nice conversions - I really need to get myself one of those kits! As a minor point of interest, isn't his hand on the wrong way round? His thumb appears to be on the outside of his hand instead of the inside.

I believe you are right Rob, unfortunately the other hand id planned to use was just far too big and this is the only other one i have so suggestions welcome on how to fix that, but ill be taking another look at it again tomorrow any way today was mechadendrites writing for our RT rp and playing pokemon (yeah im sad)
