Well the title is his name, a fighter from a very feudal world, thats has been only marginally imperialised, recruited is a strong word, more like bludgeoned into the retinue of inquisitor skraan. The inquisitor being on the planet investigating reports that the indigenous population were not following the imperial creed only too learn they followed it devoutly in a rather unorthodox way, GrunBád impressed Skraan in the ritual fights held every year. Seeing the potential in the young fighter Skraan made him an offer he refused, but he did agree too joining Skraan's retinue if he was beaten in ritual combat by the inquisitor.

Definitely a promising start. What do you plan to do for the rest of the warband?

I agree, he looks good so far. Where does he put his sword and knife when he's not using them? Maybe you could add a ring or loop to his belt that he can hook the sword through.

The rest of the warband he is with are an Inquisitor and his acolyte, a preacher, an arbite and a low level sanctioned psyker, still planning most of the work on these models though

A very nice model, I look forwards to seeing more of his friends. The sword might be best when fitted to his back while unused, it is a bit big for the belt.

I was looking at kind of cheating too make the scabbard, I'll be seeing a friend of mine who plays ogres, so I'll ran sack his sprues for another sword some GS and a few other details and itll be right for a scabbard, same with the knife sheath if i can find the same hand

That seems like a great idea, a scabbard that would actually fit the weapon. Most are either over- or undersized.

I'll be honest im not normally picky with detail 100% but I own a few swords and knives so its a bit of a passion that they have the right scabbards
