So I was considering keeping this a secret, but I find it really difficult to keep such a fun modelling project to myself. I have big plans for this, so it's a high priority for me to get finished.

The plastic bottle is (eventually) going to be a large trailer/tanker type deal - think of it as the lovechild of Dead Reckoning, the tanker from Mad Max and the Dreadnought from Death Race. What could possibly be simpler?

C&C welcome as always!

Rock on Rob!!!  I love seeing vehicals in Inquisitor!   8)
Every time I see a math word problem in the warp it looks like this:

If I have 10 ice cubes and you have 11 apples. How many pancakes will fit on the roof?

Answer:  Purple because Tyranids don't wear hats.   :P

Dolnikan

That is one cool truck, I love how it looks.

Cool model.  I recognize some GW parts, but not many.  What's your source of parts?
It may have all been a lie, but it keeps the masses quiet.

Keravin

Seems to be Leman Russ and ork Battlewagons.

I'd lose the front with the teeth on it as you'd be better with one of the IG dozers or even the Vindicator's.

Two boxes of Ork Battlewagons for the front and rear trailers. The bit in the middle... who knows! I think it is mostly a Leman Russ like Keravin said, but with a whole bunch of plasticard. I found that section in its current state in the attic somewhere, and I have no idea where it came from, it just kinda worked! I still have a LOT of work to do on it though. I'm waiting for some 1-inch square mesh to come through the post so I can start making balconies and rails. After all, what good is a huge vehicle if you can't clamber all over it?

I think you're right. I made the front half years ago for a half-ork warband that never saw the light of day. Today, it'll  be constructed by Junkers, more akin to human Jawas, so it'll still have the ramshackle appearance of orky vehicles, but with no ork iconography. The teeth, however, really have to go.

I'm sorry, but I love the teeth. While it may look a little orky I would contend that orks don't own 100% of the "toofy" vehicle market. It gives the feeling of a crazed Road Warrior type having constructed it. That said, I'm assuming you have a distinct character to go along with this thing as it has way too much personality to just sit around the battlefield so in the end going with an aesthetic to fit the thing's creator makes the most sense.

Either way, great work. That thing looks fantastic.

No matter the collateral, the fires of the forge must continue to burn...

Inb4 'the scale is all off' - Yup. I built these trucks the best part of two-three years ago - I picked up a couple of boxed sets as soon as the new kits were released figuring that they'd make awesome Inquisitor scale ramshackle vehicles, which they kinda do!

This is them with their final coat of paint, as much as I'd love to spend more time on them, I have far too much to do for saturday so Drybrush > Wash > Fine details is enough for me. They look good at arms-length so I hope they look good on the tabletop. I might have to push two boards together for this fight...

The small truck is a kind of escort vehicle, large enough to fit a single model comfortably on the back. I have another one on the painting bench that has enough space for two models in the back, and the driver's cockpit on that one is *even* smaller than this one ;) I might have to rule that they are driven by servitors cut off at the waist...

These are awesome Rob!   8)  There's nothing wrong with their paint jobs as I can tell.

Not as important but are there any stats to go along with the vehicles?

They looks very good, they really look like they have gone through a lot of repairs.

There will be, yes, but I'll be with-holding them until the day is over ;) For the purposes of their appearance, I won't be hard and fast with the stats, I'll be pretty loose until the game has come to a suitably climactic end. It wouldn't be that interesting if it got taken out in the opening few turns!

On with the show, methinks. First up is the tractor-trailer:

I'll never be completely happy with it, but I didn't put any planning into it, and literally built it as I found parts that fit. Still, not bad for only a few day's work! Time is short and I can't afford to be picky at this stage ;)

Finally.. Don't turn round mate, I think you're being followed.......

Those look nice, I really like the look on the first one, those pieces make it look very, very 40k.

SWEET!   8)  I really love the cobbled together look!

That last picture...What in Emperor's-golden-throne is that!  From that angle it looks like an old cutter ship with tank tracks in stead of a sail.
