Sorry - I've been quite absent from around here for the last few months.

However, I think it's time to think about maybe doing something this year, because I never actually get on with projects without some kind of deadline.

As far as my thoughts, obviously another IGT is always an option, but as that's the last thing we ran, it might be nice to have a story driven event - if nothing else, the Alykia crusade narrative I'd planned has been postponed for quite some time.

Alternatively, another thing I would like to do at some point is some more Revised Edition playtesting.

Thoughts? Offers to run events? Etc?

Given there's not been a specific offer from anyone else, my working plan so far is to run an event looking at the start of the (much delayed) Alykia crusade - a narrative started with "The Saint" in 2011 and continuing through "Legacy" in 2018, but you won't need to have been at these earlier events.

Having enquired with WHW about Saturdays in June, apparently the 3rd, 10th and 24th are available, so start letting me know your availability.

Unfortunately it looks like I'm working on the 10th and the 24th. I could try and book the day off though,but would need to know soon.

At the moment, I've got a few yeses and maybes for the 24th, but very few people interested in the 3rd or 10th, so that seems like the most likely date (assuming it's still available).

I do have to check my own availability for the 24th, but I will try to get back to you.

Maybe not applicable to this event, but is there anyway the events could be planned a bit more in advance or isn't that possible with the location? I live across the sea and if I had a bit more time I could swing by sometime by planning a vacation to the UK around it!

I should be, so I've put in a request for tables, but we'll have to see if the space is still free (it's been a month since I asked).

WHW doesn't have a schedule more than about three or maybe four months in advance, and then actually getting people to pick a date is often sluggish, so it's not exactly easy to sort out any earlier.

So it looks like I had things wrong anyway as the wrong team was down as being in this weekend. So I am off on the 24th. Fingers crossed that there is still space available.

But with luck I might make it.

After a bit of a mess that went:

Me: I would like to book three tables, expecting 8-10 people on the day.
WHW: I've booked you for one table, would you like a second as you've got so many people?

... we are now booked for three tables for the 24th of June. I will try to get an event pack available soon!
