I dont know how they scale, but those new chaos dragon ogres (from the torso up) may make great thug/pit fighter types...

i imagine the cost will stop that, unless there are more torsos than legs?

An enterprising person could slap some cold one heads on the reptilian legs to make a Loxatl. That said, as such a minor race I'd be hard press to want to make 3 of them in one go (I'm assuming the Drago Ogres will be a big plastic kit).

That said, recently there have been A LOT of extras in GW kits so it's entirely possible that it would be littered with extra arms and heads. Will wait to see what's in the kit, great heads up though.

of course, they're also a complete shoe-in for Zoats (although perhaps smaller than cannon suggests).

I think the Slaughterbrute and Vortex Beast would make for a horrendously nasty "kill the monster!" game.

I'd actually say that (ignoring £36 price [£1 more than the box of 3 dragon ogres!]) Throgg is the most interesting model for 54mm INQ purposes. Spot of greenstuff to cover the extra mouths, remove 28mm parts, change his weapon and/or head and tah-dah! One hulking Scavy/Mutant/Alien.

It's all fun and games until someone shoots their own guy with a Graviton gun instead of the MASSIVE SPIDER.

Or a Chaos ogryn, or a Chaos marine out of his armour...and horrifically uglified. :-P

as he's already on a 40mm base there, he'd be too small for a chaos marine/ogryn, at 54mm certainly.

Throgg is easily the prettiest thing (or at least most interesting) to come out of the new chaos line. Would love to see how he stacks up to other INQ models (I have a feeling he'd be a bit short which seems inappropriate for how imposing his features are).

Not that some of the others aren't great. I'd definitely consider getting the Dragon Ogres if I didn't already have an unreal pile of unused bits laying around. The Slaughterbrute would indeed make a great gribbly. Not that it's relevant to 54mm Inquisitor but I think the Forsaken are absolutely horrid (barring a couple interesting bitz).

Hagablwa?! Dear gods, they're getting even more ridiculous.

I have to admit, I don't really like this stuff that seems to be 3D printing - it combines an odd style they use for their plastics onto resin models that don't need it. (That the 'eavy metal team then seem to delight in over-highlighting to exaggerate it).

Still, it could be a nice inhuman brute, if one were actually prepared to pay that obscene price tag.

The quick test of "scale base to 40mm on screen, measure" shows he'll be about 60mm tall to the top of his head. Given the sheer bulk, his low head, and that raised arm/shoulder, I think he'll be appropriately large.

I must confess that I don't really like that model, it seems too extreme to me, I tend to prefer more 'flowing' models, and of course the price tag kind of puts me off. The dragon ogres however seem very nice, I might eventually get them if inspiration strikes me and my purse allows it.
