Looking good.  I'd consider a (very) light drybrush of white, for a shiny metal effect.

I can really see a warband cruising along in that, playing cards and bragging about how many heretics they'll cleanse.

Hm.  Not sure about the blue.  I'd've thought a more utilitarian green, brown or grey would've been better.  That said, look at some tutes for weathered metal online.  You could get some really nice effects on this for not a huge investment of effort.

It does look a bit purple in the picture but it is blue  hopefully once its been highlighted and weathered it will look a bit more blue.

I didnt want to go with grey/green etc as they are too 'military', its supposed to be a regular car. Im sure its not too hard to believe that someone with money in the 40k universe could buy a jeep and have it painted blue!!!

looks ok to me, an old  civilian jeep, found in a barn or corner of a workshop upgraded quickly to fulfil the warbands need of a light armoured transport. bit of welding and riveting armour on and hey presto they now have the vehicle to let them punch through the arbites road block on the only road between here and the starport
crappy instant fluff aside i like it so far, looking forward to seeing it properly weathered
