Hello to you!

I'm not sure if I introduced myself  already a year or two ago, but anyhow, it appears that my account has been deleted... SO I thought I might as well introduce myself again.

Currently, I'm not yet an Inquisitor player... to tell the truth, I'm not really playing any of the SG at the moment due to a lack of fellow players and to some extend time. I am mostly active with Mordheim and became interested in Necromunda due to the =I=munda threads on the dakkadakka-forum. While looking for some background for my 28mm inquisitorial team, I did of course get my hands on the Inquisitor ressources and this forum.

While I was kind of sceptic about 54mm scale in years gone past, I recently had a change of mind and became intrigued by the possibilities in converting, modelling and painting on a larger scale (as painting and modelling is my main activity in Mordheim and Necromunda as well), so I just ordered some cheaper 54mm miniatures to have a look at the scale and see how it goes. Hopefully, this will develop in some larger projects, with background etc, so I might end up playing at an Inquisitor meeting as well.

Regards,

Sascha

Welcome to the Conclave
To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a Heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

We had a complete crash over summer 2009, when we lost everything - accounts, posts, the works. So, not so much deleted as lost.

Well, if you can organise yourself in time, the Inquisitor Grand Tournament will be on the last Saturday in March, the 26th. Turnout is already looking like it'll be better than last year, but we'd love to improve it even more!

Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."

The turn-out could hardly be worse than last year, given that we didn't have a GT in 2010!

Mind you, the turn-out for 2009 struggled to reach double figures, IIRC. 2011 is looking like it might be the biggest yet.

You know what I mean. Last "time" then.

Eight, not including you.

Makes my fifth place sound a whole lot less impressive. :P

So far I've already sold more tickets than we had participants last year.  In that respect the March date seems to be an improvement - and given the weather in December, it's a good job we couldn't get tables then.

I do miss the Spring Conclave though...
I like to remember things my own way... Not necessarily the way they happened.
