i think the spider part could be usefull maybe as the base for some kind of servitor/spider

axiom

Wow, that's a nice new kit. Perhaps some kind of spider demon too?

Adlan

Or a good old Giant Spider. Might make a good introductory game peice. Get the Spiders eyes!

okay, I know the rumours were that it was going to be big, but I never expected it to be that big.
It's all fun and games until someone shoots their own guy with a Graviton gun instead of the MASSIVE SPIDER.

it is huge, i'm really keen for people to throw out ideas for how this could be used, do you think you could use the legs from a defiler to tech it up

Dullmohawk

Hm, you could use it to make a really cool 54mm Sarpedon model and base a scenario/campaign around him?

Meh, if that's a 150x100mm base, it's a fair sight smaller than a 54mm Rhino. :P

Still, very tempted - looks like a good gribbly.
S.Sgt Silva Birgen: "Good evening, we're here from the Adeptus Defenestratus."
Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."
Birgen: "Pick a window. I'll demonstrate".

Smaller than a Rhino, but bigger than an ]I[nquisitor ;). A lovely model.
To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a Heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.

"Inquisitor! It's a giant spider!"

"Quick! Fetch the blessed giant rolled-up newspaper of doom!"

Best suggestion so far? Assemble without goblins and leave in cutlery draw...

Ynek

Hmm..... This could work out very nicely for my Dark Eldar warband...
Feral Dark Eldar cavalry, anyone? :P
"Somehow, Inquisitor, when you say 'with all due respect,' I don't think that you mean any respect at all."

"I disagree, governor. I think I am giving you all of the respect that you are due..."

If you meant 'drawer', then that sounds like a way to end up with £36 worth of splintered plastic shards all over your cutlery. ;D

It's quite an impressive model, but it seems a little bit cartoonish to me.

precinctomega

Oh, snap!

However, painting it as a white Necromundan hive spider is a great idea.
