Hey

Im interested in getting into Inquisitor but have never played before (I am familiar with other gw games though). I couldnt find the living rule book on the GW website. Is it still there?

First of all,WELCOME TO THE CONCLAVE!

This probably belongs in the community announcements or concise announcements boards, as the OOC boards are more for feedback regarding IC pieces, but it's fine. I would suggest making the community announcements board your next port of call, maybe get a post on the introduction thread, which will also help you get to know some of the other members a bit better.

Regarding your query about the LRB, if memory serves, It's in the specialist games -> inquisitor -> imquistor resources section of the GW website (It's in 2 parts, but I can't find them at the moment). Alternatively, Marco probably has a copy on the Skoll Archive. If you have an email address, PM me it and I'll mail you the PDFs.

Just a word of warning, most people on here consider the characters at the back of the rulebook have stats that are a bit too high, and we tend to have stats around 50-60 for most characters.

This link takes you to Carthax, our current wiki page, with lot of useful FAQs. This one takes you to dark magenta, the site for the online inquisitor publication Dark Magenta.

Anyway, have a look around, make yourself at home, don't be afraid to ask if you're not sure about something, and none of us bite. In short, happy inquisiting!

This message was edited multiple times because I wasn't happy with how it sounded/forgot stuff. Will try to stay more coherent next time.

I think GW have taken down all the SG documents. Which is not a good thing at all, but there you go...

The Skoll Archive has the lot, LRB, Thorian, everything, at least everything that isn't DM, which is, of course, on the DM website.

Oh yeah - LRB is Living Rule Book, DM is Dark Magenta - http://www.darkmagenta.co.uk/. In case you didn't know already...

Just so you know, while they have appeared to take it off their website, a quick google search for "inquisitor living rulebook turned up Part One and Part Two - still on the GW website. It's often worth googling the name of an old specialist games document to see if it's still on there (I can also find the Thorian sourcebook, for example).
