Newcastle during term time or Durham during holiday time. Can easily swap between the two during other periods, being right next to each other.

York isn't too much of a journey for me, maybe once/twice a month would be fine, despite being an impoverished student =P

Durham in term time, Newcastle isn't too far for the occasional trip. GW Coventry is my closest in holidays though.
