Yo. Coordination time.

It's not as cheap as if I'd remembered to book it a few weeks ago, but it is still (oddly) cheaper for me to make my train journey via London - provided I book it so I'm walking the half mile between Euston and St Pancras, rather than paying for the tube at some exorbitant increase. This is also a lot quicker than my old route (saving about 80 minutes between journeys), it turns out.

This puts me on the 0730 STP:0926 NOT on the way out, and the 1928 NOT:2115 STP on the way back, which I think others are using as well.
I'm sure we'll have all found each other for the return journey (having probably all walked/taxied back to the station together), but if there's going to be anyone on the 0730 out of St Pancras who'd welcome some company, then give me a heads up and we can try and organise ourselves.

Captain L. Rollin: "Nonsense. Never heard of it."
Birgen: "Pick a window. I'll demonstrate".

Toot

I saw the price of train tickets from Southampton and almost blew a kidney. I'll be driving up to Notts and parking at Bloodpact's place. It's gonna be a long ol' day!

MarcoSkoll

... I've just looked and you can prebook tickets from Southhampton for £46 total. Unless you've got some eco car, you'll probably spend more than that in fuel/wear and tear/etc.

Also, you don't get to read the rulebook to refresh your memory if you're driving your way over. :P

Hope everyone's preparation is going well...

Just thought I'd see if anyone wants to hang around in Bugman's after the gaming finishes for dinner and drinks?  Bugman's is open until 10pm on a Saturday with food served until 8pm.

Could even run a quick Dark Heresy adventure if that would entice anyone to hang around...?

Shannow

Apologies from me, my grandads been taken ill and I'm unlikely to make the IGT, will have to make it up in October I think!

Sorry again guys, hope its as great as March was.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Time to die.

Stormgrad

havnt booked tickets yet rauridh so ill let you know what my plans are when i know them, as for DH adventure im prepared to bring novus and lay the autopistol/shotugn smackdown

Van Helser

No problem Shannow. Hope your grandfather gets well soon.

Shirley, I'll probably make up any characters for the Dark Heresy game. Wouldn't want to cross the streams of our current adventure with the new one!

I'd love to, but unless plans change, I'm going to have to run off to help derig this concert.

Update time!

Here's the order of play for the day:

1000-1030             Player arrival and registration
1030-1145             Scenario 1
1200-1315             Scenario 2
1330-1430             Lunch
1430-1545             Scenario 3
1600-1715             Scenario 4
1715-1730             Results calculation and announcement
1800-2200             Dinner, drinks, and Dark Heresy

The times displayed are fairly flexible, though the first game will get underway at 1030.  Latecomers are more than welcome, as even the slightest increase in support for or opposition to the Cold Trade could affect its survival.

A Dark Heresy adventure based around the disappearance of a number of high profile individuals will be run in the evening with pre-generated characters for any who are interested, including those who have not participated in the Inquisitor campaign day.  There are a maximum of six places available.

Even if you don't want to play Dark Heresy, please feel welcome to hang around after the campaign day for dinner and drinks and a wee bit of socialising.

I've been told I can be spared from the start of the derig on this concert, so I've looked at train times again. Sadly, the absolute latest I can leave Nottingham station is 2118 (later than that, and I'll be on a station overnight until the Sunday morning trains start), which means I'll have to leave WHW sometime before nine.

I don't think that gives long enough for me to really take part in the DH game (I'd hate to have to leave before the end), but if there's anyone else who'd like to hang around into the evening but has got to scram early-ish, then we might be able to fit in another game of Inquisitor.

It is with a heavy heart that due to the DWP's inability to do anything right i will not be able to come to the Summer Clave, I did have hopes of receiving the money im owed at the last second and being able to come, however because one of my other benefits has been increased (primarily because of them taking so long to sort out the first benefit) it is now going to take at least a extra 4 weeks for me to get what im owed Taking the total amount of time for this to be sorted to 13 weeks.

I really want to say sorry to all who id talked to about the Summer Clave especially Rauridh i hope it goes well for everyone involved and you all have a fun day
